Mar 03, 2021 The summer 2021 class schedules are now available online for the Los Rios colleges — American River College, Cosumnes River College, Folsom Lake College and Sacramento City College. The Los Rios summer 2021 semester is predominantly online, with only limited exceptions for classes that Los Rios has been unable to offer at all online.
“The Truths and Myths of the COVID-19 Vaccine” will begin at 6 p.m. and will be hosted on Facebook on the Christ Centered Ministries Farmerville page (@CCMFarmerville), and Zoom. The Zoom meeting ID is 88116508174 and the pass code is 566028.
The webinar will be hosted by Connie Singleton and a three-person panel will answer questions and provide information about the COVID-19 vaccines. Dr. Ezinne Nwude, co-owner of Gold Cross Urgent Care and Gold Cross Family Clinic and chief of staff at Medical Center of South Arkansas, will be one of the panelists, along with Dr. Raycinia Ellison, of Gladstone, Missouri and Dr. Melissa Ann Walker, of San Antonio, Texas.

Board Certified in Family Medicine, Nwude has a Bachelor of Science degree from City University of New York – Brooklyn College, a Master of Public Health degree from California State University – Northridge and medical degree from American University of Antigua College of Medicine, where she graduated cum laude. She completed her Family Medicine residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Fayetteville.

In addition to her role as MCSA Chief of Staff, she also serves as Medical Director for MCSA’s Hospitalist Program, Medical Director SHARE Interfaith Clinic and Adjunct Clinical Professor of Medicine NYITCOM, Arkansas State University. She is passionate about public health education and specifically about metabolic syndrome and its coronavirus link.
Ellison is a Family Medicine Specialist. She graduated with honors from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Having more than 20 years of diverse experiences, especially in family medicine, Ellison is affiliated with many hospitals including North Kansas City Hospital, St Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City, and cooperates with doctors and specialists in the Encompass Medical Group.
Walker is a family medicine physician and the owner and founder of Carol Clinic for Family-Centered Healthcare in San Antonio. Walker completed her residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch Hospitals, graduated from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her undergraduate work at Grambling State University, Ruston, Louisiana. After completing medical school and residency training, Walker returned to San Antonio to open the Carol Clinic, named in honor of her Mother.
