The Yellow Jackets gave a good effort but fell to the Virginia Cavaliers 64-62 Saturday. The loss snapped a five-game winning streak for a Georgia Tech five which has yielded just 63.8 points per game over six games since Dec. 18.Duke is 5-0 when scoring at least 75 points and 0-5 when scoring less than 75. The Devils’ last three games fit into the latter group, and that’s a program first since 2016. On its current skid, Duke has shot just 41.3% from the floor and 29.3% from beyond the 3-point arc.Georgia Tech has found a groove from 3-point-land, and that’s made the Yellow Jackets much more dangerous offensively. GTU connected on just 29.5% of its distance looks in its first five games; the Jackets have shot 46.3% since.
